ZT8221 R&D Multi-Protocol Test Set
The ZT8221 is a "one-box" wireless R&D test and characterization solution with the necessary instantaneous bandwidth to meet next generation wireless test requirements such as 160 MHz 802.11ac and 100 MHz LTE-Advanced. The ZT8221 combines a 6 GHz VSA and a 6 GHz VSG with a 2 to 8 GHz local oscillator (LO) into the industry's highest performance multi-protocol R&D test set, as demonstrated by its exceptionally low residual EVM floor. By adding the extremely clean clock source to the already high performance VSA and VSG the ZT8221 achieves the industry's best EVM results for 802.11ac devices. The ZT8221 comes pre-loaded with ZProtocolTM WLAN for 802.11a through ac (up to 160 MHz), a software toolkit that provides standard-compliant protocol analysis, waveform creation, and automated compliance testing and characterization.
