High speed Web server acquisition module: FrontDaq20
This 20 analogue and 20 digital input acquisition module with web server has been designed to fulfil
the needs of high speed acquisition applications.
Every channel can be driven separately or synchronously, at up to 7,680 samples/sec.
Several applications can be run simultaneously but independently.
Result files are created and customized upon user’s decision, comprising one or more channel results.
The system works with a web server, requiring only a web browser be used.
Communication is established using an Ethernet connection.
Digital I/O can be used to start/stop an acquisition, or to measure frequency; counters.
Special features such as GPS can be added to enlarge applications.
The memory of 256MB (storage of 1,000,000 samples/channel) can be expanded using
COMPACT FLASH drives.
Modules can be used stand alone (a battery can be plugged) or driven by software for real-time needs

Issued from FrontDaq 20, FrontDaq 5 series are embedding the latest telecommunication technology:
a web server allows the programming, reading and exploitation of data from any device equipped
with an internet browser.
Advantage: no need for dedicated software or computer. Just a simple web browser is necessary to
establish communication with module.
All input and output channels are universal and synchronous with an acquisition speed up to 470 Hz
per channel.
Advantage: data can be compared exactly at the same time, with resolution from the millisecond.
Each module is built with RS485, USB and Ethernet connection.
The 256MB internal memory can be increased using USB drives, or SD Card.
The module also complies with 21CFR part II standard for pharmaceutical industries and NADCAP
standard for heat treatment.
3 models exist with 5, 10 or 15 input channels and output relays and analog outputs. All of them have
calculations channels to perform online calculations for statistics, data processing…
