SEC MHUV chambers are integrated, ready-to-use systems equipped with special 1000 W metal halide lamps.
Two chamber sizes are available – the SEC 12000 MHUV offers an exposure area of 1.5 x 2.0 m and the SEC 19000 MHUV has a 2.2 x 2.6 m exposure area. Both chambers offer 3 sun UV irradiance or, as an option, an additional set of MHUV lamps can be installed to obtain 5 sun UV irradiance. Higher UV intensity exposure significantly reduces the total test time and increases sample throughput.
Chamber parameters and irradiance level are controlled by a fully integrated PC unit with a 12" color touch screen user interface.
