Description
The ME7873L LTE RF Conformance Test System is the world’s first GCF-validated RF test platform (test cases validated at CAG#22 in April 2010), supporting the most GCF-approved test cases. The system uses the MD8430A Signalling Tester as an LTE base station simulator and is configured from Anritsu-developed test instruments, interface hardware, and software. The ME7873L supports TRX, Performance, and RRM test cases with the UE in either a test call or no-call test mode. LTE Bands currently supported include FDD 1 to 5, 7 to 14, 17 to 21, and TDD 33 to 40.
The easy-to-use GUI supports a search mode for receive and performance tests, automatic termination and retry for failed tests, a signaling log viewer, and simple call processing parameter changes for efficient R&D and certification tests.
Testing of 3GPP TS36.521-1 Chapter 6 (Transmitter Characteristics), Chapter 7 (Receiver Characteristics), Chapter 8 (Performance Requirements), Chapter 9 (Reporting of Channel State Information) and TS36.521-3 RRM are supported by the ME7873L. In addition, support for both TDD and Inter-RAT tests including LTE to GSM/UMTS/CDMA2000, and UMTS to LTE.
