Description
The MCERTS certified Rasi 800 is a portable emission and combustion analyser designed for emissions monitoring, maintenance and tuning of combustion processes such as industrial boilers, burners, gas and diesel engines, Gas turbines, furnaces, kilns, process heaters, and any more.
Features
RASI 800 measurements
RASI flue gas analayser can measure simulatanously up to 8 gases. It is s equipped as standard with 02 (eletrochemical) measurement cell. GAs sensors option inlcude up to 5 additional electrochemical cells for measurement of CO,NO,NO2,So2 and H2S and one NDIR(non dispersive infrared technology) bench for the measurment of CO2%, HC% and high concentration of CO %.
Draught, differential and stack pressure are standard features

Fresh Air inlet/Autozero
A programmable solenoid valve is used to provide fresh air to the sensors manifold. Automatic zeroing of the sensor eliminate sensor drift and saturation during long term measurement cycles and ensure longer life to the electrochemical cells. It also allow for the flue gas probe to remain in the stack during the Auto zero function. The function can be automatically operated by setting an interval purging time, or manually operated but simply press the auto zero function key from the RCU unit.
Peltier Cooler and Peristaltic pump
A proper sample conditioner is an essential and crucial feature of any electrochemical cells based combustion or emission analysers. Our Analyser incorporate sampling conditioner features that are second to no one and that typically are only available on fixed or process gas analyser. These feature includes a Thermoelectric "Peltier" GAs Cooler with automatic condensate removal pump and condensate monitor and alarms.
Thermoelectric Peltier Cooler: The sample gas enters the temperature controlled cooler, (maintained a 5 C ), where the moisture in the gas quickly condenses and it is trapped in the water trap catch.
Peristaltic Pump: The pump automatically removes condensate from the water trap, eliminating any possible contact with the sample gas. Condensate alarm: a sophisticate condensate supervision prompt ad alarm the user ( on the RCU) in case of high humidity level in the gas sample.
Ensuring a cold and dry sample gas to the gas sensors is a vital conditions to ensure long term repeatability and accuracy of the analyser .Because the gas sample is properly conditioned before being measured, the typical life of the electrochemical cells in the RASI 800 analyser is much longer than any other analyser
CO Purge Pump/sensor protection
A CO Purge pump is installed as standard to protect the CO senor from over saturation. It is automatically trigged by a CO limit which is user programmable. This pump automatically purge the sensor with fresh air to avoid saturation. It allows forthe unit to be used in both lean or reach combustions.
Heated Head Probe
The RASI 800 MCERTS is supplied as standard with a special probe line with heated head, glass wool filter and VITON sampling line. The Heated glass wool filter is a great deterrent to moisture built-up and particulate matter. It is especially indicated for "dirty" combustion processes and protect the unit from dirt to enter the analyser.
Low NOx
Special selected and calibrated NO and NO2 gas sensors are available with 0,1 ppm to provide Low NOx readings.
Flow, Mass flow and Velocity
The RASI 800 combustion analayser can provide reading for Flow, velocity and Mass Flow by using different methods:
Pitot tUbe Typically for combustion process, a pitut tube is connected to the differential pressure sensor input of the RCU remote control unit. This option include an high accuracy differential pressure sensors and a barometric sensor for automatic compensation of atmospheric pressure changes. Pitot Factor and stack dimater variable are manually input and the aanalyser will automatically calculate and provide mass flow reading in differents units. Pitot tube lenghts range from 300 mm to 2000 mm
Vane Anemometer and Air Flow Cone Typically for non combustion processes, a Vane anemomoter or an Air Flow Cone can be connected to the RCU ( remote control unit) to provide mass emission calculation or Volume flow measurement
